Captain America actor Chris Evans has joined Hayley Atwell in the latest installment of the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D./Agent Carter dubsmash war, effectively shutting it down for the rest of time.

How we got here: The casts of the two Marvel shows killed downtime at San Diego Comic-Con last week by taking turns creating the greatest dubsmashes possible and releasing them on social media. For the uninitiated, a dubsmash is a quick video clip of you lipsyncing a popular song.

We documented the war over the weekend — the battle was started by the S.H.I.E.L.D. cast, and the two ABC dramas have been taking turns releasing new dubsmashes ever since.

Update (7:45 p.m. eastern): Just when you thought your heart couldn’t handle any more from this war, a second dubsmash has arrived from Atwell today. Celebrating her historic win over Team S.H.I.E.L.D., Atwell just shared this video in which she and Chris Evans make out. And leaves D’Arcy in the corner with the dust.

Original story: Well, the war may be over. Freakin’ Chris Evans recorded a dubsmash with Hayley Atwell and James D’Arcy on Wednesday in his full Captain America suit (complete with Cap’s shield). See for yourself:

As if this wasn’t going to hurt Team S.H.I.E.L.D. badly enough, Evans had to write “To Coulson – Lots of love, Steve” on a Captain America poster at the beginning of the video. Ouch. Ouch.

We don’t know how the S.H.I.E.L.D. cast could potentially beat this one. Atwell has the star-power advantage since she presumably made this on the set of Captain America: Civil War, which is currently shooting in Georgia.

Hey, Robert Downey Jr.? Team S.H.I.E.L.D. needs some help. STAT.

By the way, we highly recommend checking out all the other dubsmash videos in our previous story. They’re a blast to watch!
