Captain America actor Chris Evans has finished filming the fourth Avengers movie — and is possibly finished with the MCU for good.

In a tweet on Thursday afternoon, Evans revealed that he has personally wrapped filming for the still-untitled Avengers installment.

“It was an emotional day to say the least. Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor,” he wrote. “To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories!”

His words seem to confirm that he’s finished playing Cap for good.

Infinity War saw the Avengers split as Thanos “killed off” half the population. The big question going into the fourth film is: How will everyone be brought back to life?
