The two-hour shameless CBS promo train People’s Choice Awards had a couple good laughs, but no moment was as spectacular as when Chris Evans helped Betty White up on stage.

Early on in the awards show hosted by Anna Faris and Allison Janney, Betty White picked up an award to recognize her place as a television icon.

As the almost-93-year-old stood up, Captain America himself Chris Evans (dressed in his normal human being gear) came to White’s side and helped her up to the stage. Take a look at the adorable moment below:

Fittingly, White’s award was a bouquet of flowers.

Later the karma was returned to Evans when he won the award for Favorite Action Movie Actor. His fellow Avengers friend Robert Downey Jr. won the award Favorite Movie Actor at the end of the night.

Another highlight of the night was the People’s Choice Awards’ cold open, which featured Faris and her real life husband Chris Pratt in a skit:
