Thor: The Dark World is hitting theaters on November 8, and today we have the second clip from the film featuring Christopher Eccleston as Malekith the Accursed.

In the latest Thor: The Dark World clip we see Christopher Eccleston wake up as the film’s villain Malekith the Accursed. With an incredible extended TV spot being featured during Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D earlier this week, we’re definitely getting excited for Marvel’s next film.

What a way to introduce Eccleston’s character. We see that he’s clearly the leader of a massive army on that even more massive ship that we see crash into London. Eccleston was the perfect choice for this character and this latest footage proves just that.

The first Thor: The Dark World clip featured Thor speaking with Loki and we found out that their relationship is pretty much at an all-time low. Thor is ready to kill him at any moment, but we have a feeling Tom Hiddleston will have his fun before it’s all over.

If you can’t tell yet, we’re getting very close to the release of Thor: The Dark World. With the second official clip landing online today, and some incredible TV spots being seen last week, we’re getting very excited about this sequel hitting theaters in less than a month.

Posters featuring Christopher Eccleston and Tom Hiddleston as Loki have been released recently, along with other posters featuring Thor’s battle ready friends. The latest featurette landed online yesterday featuring Hemsworth, Hiddleston, and Portman discussing some of the film’s scenes.

Thor: The Dark World continues to look more and more like it will trump the first film, as the footage seen in the latest trailer was incredible.

We’re seeing a much darker film than before, and while the comedy aspects are still present, we can tell that Game of Thrones’ director Alan Taylor has had a huge impact on the style of the film.

This film will certainly be Marvel’s transition into Guardians of the Galaxy, which will be a very space-filled film. Thor’s sequel is looking very promising and we can’t wait for its November 8 release date.
