The British beauty, who currently is at work on her third studio album, has some great talent to work with. She may have been fired from The X Factor, but the star power attached to her latest musical endeavor may be just what she needs to break out in America.
A few months ago, most of us had little idea who exactly Cheryl Cole was. It wasn’t until she was hired, and then subsequently fired from the U.S version of The X Factor, that people started to wonder who and what this girl could do. Sure, she was beautiful, but could she obtain the level of star power here in America that she had in Europe?
If the latest names attached to her album are any indication, it might be safe to say yes. First of all, will.i.am of Black Eyed Peas fame has been a long time fan and support for Cheryl. He has been guiding her into great choices as far as producers and collaborators go. Aside from the previously announced Taio Cruz and David Guetta, Cole is reportedly teaming up with producer Alex Da Kid, who is responsible for the Rihanna and Eminem smash hit, Love The Way You Lie.
It sounds like Cole is putting a lot of thought and talent into this album. Do you think it will help her gain mainstream success here in America?
