Charlize Theron and her character Cipher are returning to the Fast & Furious franchise, and Theron just teased her character’s new look.

Fast & Furious 9 is in the middle of production, and we’re going to be seeing some familiar faces when the flick hits theaters. Charlize Theron is returning to the franchise, playing her iconic villain Cipher. And it seems that she’s totally re-vamped her style for the new movie.

Theron took to Instagram to tease her character’s return with a couple of photos and the caption “She’s baaaaack #Fast9.” The first image highlights Cipher’s new bold style choice–a super blunt, short cut that somehow puts a glamorous spin on the bowl cut.

And even if you saw the hashtag Theron used and you still had doubts about which character return she was teasing, the second image is of Theron’s chair from the Fast 9 set with her character’s name on it.

But let’s go back to Cipher’s new look. We’re certainly glad to see Theron’s character step away from the mini locs she wore in The Fate of the Furious, but we have questions about her new style.

The hair is certainly A Look™ and Mad Men actress January Jones says it best in the comments of Charlize Theron’s post, “The hair is next level good. But it would only look good on you.” Seriously, who else but Charlize Theron could make a bowl cut fashion?

But more than our fascination with Cipher’s new style, we’re pretty excited to see what adventures await in Fast & Furious 9. We know that production is about halfway through, and Vin Diesel has already teased a “really intense scene” during the film’s unique take on a Tudor party. There’s been a lot of news coming from the Fast 9 set, and we’re so excited to see that first trailer.

Thankfully, we’re getting closer every day to Charlize Theron’s return as Cipher and Fast & Furious 9’s release. Fast 9 is set to hit theaters May 22, 2020.
