In a Twitter interview for Glamour Magazine, the Step Up star revealed that a sequel to the surprise-hit stripper movie is currently in the works.
Q: How about Magic Mike 2?
C: “Yes, yes and yes! We’re working on the concept now. We want to flip the script and make it bigger.”
No word yet on whether the rest of the cast or director Steven Soderbergh will return, but we anticipate an official announcement will be made in the coming weeks.
Magic Mike bagged itself a place on our 10 Best Films of 2012 (so far) list earlier this month.
