Spike Lee and Chadwick Boseman are teaming up for a new project over at Netflix.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix has officially acquired the rights to Da 5 Bloods — Spike Lee’s directorial follow up to to the critically acclaimed BlacKkKlansman.

The project marks the continuation of Lee’s relationship with the online streaming platform. Netflix is currently home to Lee’s She’s Gotta Have It — a comedy series based off of his 1986 film of the same name.

Da 5 Bloods focuses on Vietnam war veterans who decide to go back to the jungle in an effort to find their lost innocence and put their lives back together.

The Academy Award nominated director isn’t the only big name attached to the project. In addition to Lee, Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman has officially signed on to star in the upcoming film.

Boseman joins fellow actors Jean Reno and frequent Lee collaborator Delroy Lindo, both of whom have also signed on to star in the new project.

In addition to directing, Lee also teamed up with BlackKkKlansman scribe Kevin Wilmott to pen the script for Da 5 Bloods.

Lee and Wilmott’s script is based off of an original by Danny Bilson and Paul DeMeo, which was in turn rewritten by Matthew Billingsly.

There’s currently no word on when we can expect Da 5 Bloods to make its grand debut on Netflix.
