Marvel veterans Chadwick Boseman and the Russo Brothers are teaming up for a new action flick, but it won’t be based in the world of comic books.

Deadline reports that Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman will be producing and starring in STXfilms’ upcoming action flick 17 Bridges.

The forthcoming thriller will be produced by Joe and Anthony Russo, who have notably directed a slew of Marvel entities including the Captain America trilogy as well as this year’s Avengers: Infinity War.

Other producers on the project include Boseman’s writing and producing partner Logan Coles, along with Mike Larocca who will be serving as executive producer on the project.

Behind the camera, Luther and Game of Thrones veteran Brian Kirk will be serving as director on 17 Bridges. He’ll be directing from a script written by Adam Mervis.

Boseman will be playing a disgraced NYPD detective in the upcoming thriller. The detective unexpectedly gets a shot at redemption after he becomes a part of a city-wide manhunt in an effort to track down a cop killer.

Currently, there’s no word on when 17 Bridges will be hitting theaters.

Up next, Boseman is gearing up to get back into Black Panther’s vibranium suit. He’ll be reprising his role as T’Challa in next year’s highly anticipated follow-up to Avengers: Infinity War, which will premiere in theaters on May 3, 2019.

As for the Russo Brothers, Avengers aside, they’ll be dipping their toes back into television for Syfy’s upcoming freshman series, Deadly Class. Based off the comic book series by Rick Remender and Wesley Craig, the new series is set to premiere sometime in 2019.
