A Twitter user claiming to be a trailer editor says that the next Catching Fire trailer will debut at Sam Diego Comic-Con 2013 next month, but the account is fake.

The “editor” tweeted this morning that he had finished a Catching Fire trailer due for release at next month’s San Diego Comic-Con. His tweet included a photo which we assumed is from the trailer, but in a separate tweet he said it was from Will Smith’s After Earth (another film he worked on).

UPDATE: Reverse image searches on the Twitter user’s photo indicate that the photo of the user is from a church’s website. Thus, this account appears to be fake. At any rate, we wouldn’t be surprised if a trailer does debut at Comic-Con. Lionsgate said to one fansite earlier this week that a trailer is coming “very soon.”

The first Catching Fire trailer debuted at the MTV Movie Awards this past April and featured President Snow and Plutarch Heavensbee plotting against Katniss and Peeta. This second trailer may introduce us to Quarter Quell competitors like Finnick and Johanna.

San Diego Comic-Con is a yearly convention and the place for studios to tout their upcoming films and TV shows directly in front of fans. Hypable will be in attendance and hopes to cover any and all Catching Fire related announcements while we’re there!

We’ve reached out to Lionsgate for comment and are awaiting a response.
