More high-res photos from the set of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire‘s Quarter Quell scenes in Hawaii are now online.
These show Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence), Peeta (Josh Hutcherson), and Finnick (Sam Claflin) sitting together on the beach, talking, and then suddenly spotting someone out at sea.
The characters are in their arena gear and have their weapons at their sides. Katniss is enjoying some fish in many of these photos. They can’t seem to catch a break, however, because something out at sea makes Peeta get up and brandish his sword.
Catching Fire‘s cast and crew descended upon Hawaii earlier this week to wrap up filming by the end of December. Check out our previous story for more high-res photos where we see them beginning the Quarter Quell.

These offer our second major look at Sam Claflin as Finnick, who forms an alliance with Katniss and Peeta in Suzanne Collins’ story.
Francis Lawrence is helming this story and recently signed on for Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2. He replaced The Hunger Games director Gary Ross who was very serious about taking on Catching Fire until he didn’t like the limited amount of time he had to shoot the movie. Catching Fire will be scored by James Newton Howard.
