A slew of high-res photos from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire have been released and depict various pre-Games scenes.

One of the most interesting photos is perhaps the one featured above where we see Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) having his arm painted by the female Morphling (Megan Hayes) in the tribute training center as they prepare for the Quarter Quell.

Other photos depict Plutarch Heavensbee in his Gamemaker command center, Effie at President Snow’s party, Katniss and Peeta on the Victory Tour, and Katniss with her bow and arrows. We’re also treated to a couple of behind-the-scenes stills like one of Jena Malone as Johanna during the televised interviews.

Speaking of promotional material, over the past few days several television spots have been released by Lionsgate. Each includes a lot of repeat footage, but every once in a while you see a quick look at a new scene (like the Cornucopia doing a big spin to shake up the predictability of the Games).

If you want a guaranteed amount of new material, check out this clip starring Jennifer Lawrence and Jeffrey Wright as we see Beetee tell Katniss how to spot kinks in forcefield. This knowledge later becomes useful to Katniss as she spots the invisible (painful to touch) walls while in the Games.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire arrives in theaters November 22. Earlier this week we published our review of the movie.
