Two new high-res photos from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire depict a few of the elder characters who are helpful and detrimental to Katniss’ journey.
Though these premiered in January, this is the first time the pair of photos are available in high-resolution.

In this first photo we see Plutarch Heavensbee (Philip Seymour-Hoffman) and Haymitch (Woody Harrelson) at what is most likely President Snow’s home party.
In another photo we see President Snow (Donald Sutherland) on his balcony with a glass of champagne in hand and a red velvet suit.
Last week Lionsgate debuted a new photo from Catching Fire which was an instant fan favorite: Finnick, shirtless, handing Katniss a sugar cube.

The Finnick photo came on the heels of seeing the character played by Sam Claflin in the second Catching Fire trailer which made its debut at San Diego Comic-Con.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will open in theaters on November 22. We expect at least one more trailer and many, many more photos. Expect some fast-paced television commercials too.

Like they did for The Hunger Games, Lionsgate appears to be holding off any promotional material depicting the Quarter Quell tournament itself.
