Actor Toby Jones, who plays Claudius Templesmith in The Hunger Games films, spoke briefly at the Golden Globes about what director Francis Lawrence brought to Catching Fire.

MTV chatted him up on the red carpet and attempted to pull some interesting new info out of the actor. Though he noted that he couldn’t say much about the film, he did reveal that the film has, “a whole different visual sense that people will be excited by.” Moreover, he said that the filmmakers came up with a, “very interesting way that they’re going to dramatize the games themselves.”

We’re very intrigued by the latter statement because we wonder just how different the games will be portrayed as compared to how they were in The Hunger Games. Perhaps filmmakers wanted to make it feel very different from the original film as to avoid any comparisons about the stories being too similar.

As for the “visual sense” Jones mentioned, we’re sure director Francis Lawrence brought in some interesting new color and cinematic elements to put his own stamp on the franchise. He has an additional two films to continue honing the right look and feel for the futuristic world; Lawrence is signed on to direct Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire opens November 22, 2013.
