Castle season 6, episode 7 “Like Father, like Daughter” will be airing tonight on ABC, and Alexis needs her dad’s help to prove the innocence of a man on Death Row.

In the seventh episode of the sixth season, Castle and Alexis get some real father/daughter bonding time as they work together on an Innocence Review case to prove that a man on Death Row is innocent. The synopsis reads:

Alexis enlists Castle’s help on an Innocence Review case to prove that a death row inmate, Frank Henson (guest star James Carpinello, “The Good Wife”), was wrongly convicted. With only 72 hours left before his execution, Castle and Alexis (with help from Beckett) urgently investigate the original murder, only to uncover explosive secrets that may seal Frank’s fate. Joelle Carter (“Justified”) guest stars as Frank’s long-time girlfriend who has always believed in him, on “Castle,” MONDAY, NOVEMBER 4 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

We’ve also got an interesting clip from the episode to share. In this short but sweet clip Castle suggests that he and Beckett actually get married in space, but Beckett doesn’t bite. Castle then gets a text from Alexis, who’s been avoiding him ever since he showed a rude disinterest in her boyfriend.
