Everyone’s favorite segment from James Corden’s Late Late Show may be getting its own spinoff!

Who doesn’t love celebrities jamming out in the car, singing their favorite songs and some of their biggest hits, interacting with the adorable, hilarious, and talented Late Late Show host in the process?

According to THR, CBS Television Studios will be producing alongside Fulwell 73. Corden and his executive producer Ben Winston have been shopping the idea around to various networks, with apparently great results. The original series is expected to cause a bidding war amid buyers.

The bad news? James Corden won’t be hosting the show. This is sure to be a major disappointment for fans of the segment, as Corden’s personality and chemistry with his guests are a huge reason why the segment became so popular in the first place.

Corden will be an executive producer, however, and does plan to guest star from time to time. With his involvement, there’s hope he’ll have a heavy hand in choosing the host and the way the show is set up. If they can find someone as personable and talented as he is, there’s a good chance this idea could do extremely well for everyone involved.

Though “Carpool Karaoke” is popular in its own rights, with more than 412 million YouTube hits combined, it’s no surprise they’re looking to expand the idea of the show following the current popularity of Lip Sync Battle on Spike. Watching celebrities acting silly, dressing up, and putting on a fake show is surprisingly entertaining.

It should also be noted that Spike is developing a spinoff of their own, titled Caraoke Showdown, which will be like a blend of Lip Sync Battle and James Corden’s Late Late Show segment. Showdown will be hosted by Craig Robinson.

In the meantime, watch Adele be amazing:
