“Call Me Maybe” singer Carly Rae Jepsen and party rockers LMFAO are collaborating on a new song.

Jepsen gave Billboard an idea of what her upcoming album would consist of in an interview for the magazine’s latest issue, which features the Justin Bieber protégé on its cover.

“I ran into RedFoo from LMFAO at the airport, and we’ve been writing a song together today. Over the phone,” she said.

Jepsen’s album, due in September, will include songs from around the time she wrote “Call Me Maybe” as well as more recent ones.

“What I really love about music is that, despite all this craziness the creative process remains the same,” Jepsen told Billboard. “And that same exciting feeling I had before anybody knew me, when I was just beginning to work on ‘Call Me Maybe,’ is the same feeling I had today with RedFoo from LMFAO.”

Jepsen will be hitting the road with Justin Bieber for his Believe tour starting Sept. 29 in Glendale, Ariz.
