The Avengers Phase One collector’s set was released yesterday, and included in the box set was additional concept art which gives us our first look at Anthony Mackie’s character, The Falcon, which will be included in Captain America’s sequel.

After six months of delays due to a lawsuit, Marvel was finally able to release The Avengers Phase One collector’s set yesterday. The silver lining to this delay is that due to the extended delay, Marvel was able to include loads of additional behind-the-scenes videos and more importantly, concept art for its next films.

We’ve already seen some additional concept art which gave us a look at Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and a quick shot of Captain America, but now we have our first look at Captain America: The Winter Soldier’s new character, The Falcon, played by Anthony Mackie. Click on the images to view them in high-res.

Also included in the collector’s set is some concept art of The Winter Soldier, according to CBM, which shows him in a facial mask. We’re unsure whether this concept art is finalized or not, but it’s definitely interesting that due to this dreadful delay, we’re able to see some great concept art for Captain America’s sequel, which also started filming this week in California. Check out The Winter Soldier, as well as another shot of Captain America jumping towards one of the jets we saw in The Avengers.
