Marvel has released a four minute Captain America: The Winter Soldier extended trailer featuring Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson.

Despite reports that a prologue for the film was going to be released soon with 10 minutes of new footage, today we have four minutes of new footage from the film featuring an entire sequence followed by a new trailer. Watch the new trailer below via Fandango:

In this new trailer we see Cap and Black Widow working together on a secret mission which has been teased in the first few trailers, but now we’re getting the entire sequence.

Natasha seems to be trying to get Steve a date, we wonder if she’ll end up asking him out? They look like they’ll be kicking some major ass together though no matter what their relationship status.

At a recent showing for Marvel’s latest One-Shot, Marvel’s President Kevin Feige was nice enough to give the audience a 10+ minute preview of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. This was revealed to be the prologue for the film, which we’ll most likely see in the coming weeks.

Marvel has released some great character posters lately, most recently featuring Chris Evans in a new poster that landed Sunday night before the Oscars. We also got our first official shot of Anthony Mackie as The Falcon in a poster seen last week.

In related news, Captain America 3 was recently confirmed to be in pre-production, with The Winter Soldier directors Anthony and Joe Russo signing on to direct the third film with Chris Evans in the lead role of Steve Rodgers.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier will hit theaters April 4, 2014. The sequel stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Robert Redford, Sebastian Stan, Frank Grillo and Samuel L. Jackson.
