More new footage of Spider-Man has been released in a Captain America: Civil War TV spot in which he meets the rest of The Avengers for the first time!

Yesterday, fans got a look at a great scene between Spider-Man and Bucky in Captain America: Civil War. The TV spot featured Spider-Man swinging in and knocking over Bucky who was trying to run away. After catching a punch Bucky tries to throw his way, Spider-Man exclaims, “You have a metal arm? That is awesome, dude!”

This was our first hint that Spider-Man, who is on Team Iron Man, will still be fans of the rest of The Avengers. In the latest TV spot this is confirmed when he introduces himself to the rest of the heroes. It’s a familiar scene from the trailer when he swings in and grabs Captain America’s shield.

New footage from another TV spot shows what comes after when he says, “Hey everyone!” Iron Man isn’t having it and tries to explain to him, “Yeah we don’t really need to start a conversation.” That doesn’t stop Spider-Man from saluting Captain America though and saying, “Hey Captain, big fan!”

So far we’re loving all of the humor that Spider-Man has been bringing to Captain America: Civil War. If these small clips are any indication of the character as whole, we’re going to be big fans of this version of Spider-Man.

The improvements we’re seeing is most likely due to the fact that Marvel has been allowed creative control over the character. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige recently told HeyUGuys “They really are supportive in allowing us to make the creative decisions to make, but they’ve been great partners.” It’s really a relief to hear that the Sony/Marvel partnership is working out and will be giving the fans a Spider-Man they love.
