Captain America: Civil War’s latest trailer gives us incredible new looks at Iron Man and his team going up against Cap and Bucky. Oh, and Spider-Man! Cap and Bucky looked pretty amazing as they battled Iron Man in the first trailer, and with this new trailer it really feels like we haven’t seen a story like this before. Marvel has finally revealed our first look at actor Tom Holland as Spider-Man, and while it’s only a brief look, it leaves us wanting more as we head into the final stretch for this movie. Spider-Man makes his appearance at the very end of the trailer and steals Cap’s shield, at the request of Iron Man. As you may be able to tell based on the voice, Peter Parker will be a teenager, joining forces with some veteran superheroes. This film will be a huge springboard into Spider-Man’s solo films (the first of which opens in theaters July 2017).
The trailer does a good job of setting up the argument between Captain America and Iron Man as something more than just a disagreement, but rather a fundamental difference in their worldviews. Neither superhero wants to go up against his friend, and both are apologetic in anticipation of what’s to come.

Notably, Black Panther gets a lot more screen time in this trailer, and we really see him in action as he chases down Bucky and fights him one on one. Between that and cool shots of Ant-Man shrinking and Hawkeye’s new kinds of arrows, there’s a lot to digest here.
But the line that’ll probably have fans screaming the loudest will be when Tony warns Steve to stand down, but Cap just says, “I could do this all day,” a call back to his dogged determination seen in The First Avenger.
Civil War features an astonishing cast (which includes Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Emily VanCamp, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Frank Grillo, and Tom Holland, just to name a few), and we’ve heard great things from early reviews. The Russo brothers directed The Winter Soldier, which was easily the most well-received Marvel film since The Avengers.
Captain America: Civil War will hit U.S. theaters May 6, 2016. The film’s story “picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity,” according to a synopsis from Marvel. “After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.”
