Just in time for the final season of Hemlock Grove, Camille de Pazzis joins the show as a series regular.
The third and final season of the Netflix original series Hemlock Grove will see the introduction of a new character named Annie, played by French actress Camillee de Pazzis. According to Deadline, Annie will be “a mysterious and kind old soul masquerading in a young body who has close ties to the Godfrey family.”
Since the Godfrey family is so old and powerful, we’re not surprised that yet another interesting character will be surfacing to show Roman just how much of a pull his surname has. We have to wonder what exactly Annie will be if she’s an old soul walking around in a young body.
And if she’s described as kind, we wonder what kind of horrors she’ll have to endure this season. This is Hemlock Grove, after all. No one gets off easy.
Camille de Pazzis has quite a few French titles to her name, but some of her latest work includes arcs on both Last Resort and The Following. The latter television show allowed her to let out her crazy side, as she depicted a female killer and cult follower. She’s no stranger to action or horror thanks to this role, so we’re sure she’ll handle her time as Annie with grace.
Not much is known about Hemlock Grove season 3, other than these 10 episodes will be the show’s last. Executive Producer Eli Roth has said, “We are looking forward to taking the last and final season into some dark and unexpected places, and to giving viewers the killer finale you’d come to expect from ‘Hemlock Grove.’”
Executive Producer Chic Eglee adds, “Knowing it will be our last, gives us the opportunity to go out in a mushroom cloud of clever and soul shattering mayhem.”
It’s hard to think that, at this point, the team behind Hemlock Grove could possibly surprise us with anything else (we’ve been through a lot in just two short seasons), but we anxiously await being proven wrong.
