Fan favorite Cameron Monaghan is about to make his return as Jerome Valeska on Gotham, and he’s teasing about it on social media!

As we teased earlier, Jerome’s following in Gotham is growing and they’re determined to bring him back. And while many fans are sure to be excited to see him return as well, we now know that the arc is sadly only three episodes long!

However, Cameron Monaghan calls it his “favorite material” on the show. He also teases the arc further by describing the journey, “We got to take risks and tell a story that is violent, weird, absurd, and a bit off the beaten path. This was an ambitious storyline and regardless of how it is received, I’m proud of the level of commitment and scale we devoted to this over-the-top, nasty personality.”

The start of the 3-episode arc begins tonight. This story builds to a climax that is honestly my favorite material I've ever been involved with on this show and I can't wait to show it to you all. Without getting too saccharine, I'd like to take a moment to thank @dccomics, @foxtv, and @warnerbrostv for giving me the opportunity for my continued involvement in the Bat-mythos as well as to pay tribute to such a great villain. We had more story to tell and we got to tell it. I got to go down a dark road and make many weird decisions from performance ticks to the level of rust I'd like on my knives. We got to take risks and tell a story that is violent, weird, absurd, and a bit off the beaten path. This was an ambitious storyline and regardless of how it is received, I'm proud of the level of commitment and scale we devoted to this over-the-top, nasty personality. Also, shout out to @dastmalchian who spearheads this first episode and introduces us into our new world of fanaticism and worship of anarchy. And a thank you to my talented castmates who tolerated and indulged my on-set strangeness. I hope you, dear audience, all enjoy.
