The actress is in final negotations to join other famed actors, including Brad Pitt, in the upcoming film.
Cameron Diaz will be joining Ridley Scott’s (Prometheus, Gladiator) upcoming film, The Counselor, which was written by Pulitzer Prize winner and author Cormac McCarthy. Diaz will star alongside Pitt, Michael Fassbender, Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz.
Deadline reports:
It is a strong supporting role she’ll play, named Malkina. Fassbender plays the title role of a respected lawyer who thinks he can dip a toe into the drug business without getting sucked down, which proves to be a life-threatening decision.
Deadline also describes The Counselor as “No Country For Old Men on steroids.”
