For a limited time, Amazon is offering the Les Misérables movie soundtrack for the very low price of $5!

The digital soundtrack only went on sale yesterday and normally is priced at $15.99 through iTunes and Amazon. It is a “highlights” compilation featuring 20 tracks, so diehards may notice a few of their favorite areas of the musical missing. Nonetheless, there are many standouts to be heard including “I Dreamed A Dream,” “The Confrontation,” “Master of the House,” “One Day More,” and “Javert’s Suicide.” A Hypable reader reviewed the soundtrack for us yesterday – read their well-educated thoughts here. It is unknown at this time if Universal plans to release additional songs from the musical, but if/when they do we’ll be sure to let you know.

Click here to buy it! You’ll want to buy now at this low price whether or not you plan to listen to the soundtrack before or after seeing the movie, because this deal won’t last long.

In related news, a new trailer for Les Misérables was released yesterday and features Samantha Barks performing “On My Own”:

Les Misérables opens December 25. Watch Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman in “At the End of the Day” and “One Day More.”
