And it currently has over 15 million streams in just 72 hours! ARMYs from all around the world listened to the track, with the most streams coming in from South Korea, the United States, Vietnam, Indonesia and Japan.

Jimin worked tirelessly on the track for months with Big Hit producer Slow Rabbit, and also received help from BTS band member RM with the lyrics.

All the hard work paid off because Promise has truly won the hearts of many with its beauty.

It’s worth noting that while Jimin had been teasing about releasing a song for a while, ARMYs had no idea when exactly it would come.

It came as a surprise to many when it was uploaded on New Years Eve with no warning until Jimin tweeted about it to let us all know.

Also many thanks to the tireless fans that translated the lyrics quickly for international ARMYs!
