BTS ‘Bon Voyage’ season 4, episode 7:

Nighttime has already fallen when the boys arrive at their last lodging in New Zealand for Bon Voyage season 4. With dinner on their minds, they’re quick to want to figure out the bedroom situation. They decide to play a game of bottle caps to figure out who will get to pick rooms first. With four bedrooms, one of them will get a single room again, so the stakes are high.

First, they had to play rock, paper, scissors to decide the order of the game. Then they got going, taking turns hitting the bottle cap down the table to see who could get the farthest without it falling off.

After they all take their turns, Yoongi ends up in first place. With Jin in second, Hoseok in third, and Jimin in fourth. While Jungkook, Taehyung, and Namjoon were eliminated for falling off the table, after a second try shooting the cap, Taehyung comes in fifth place, Namjoon in sixth, and Jungkook is last.

When they finally get to pick their rooms, Yoongi gets a single room. While the others end up pairing off in order of their win, Jin and Hoseok pick a room together, Jimin and Taehyung decide to share a room, while Namjoon and Jungkook end up together by default.

After their rooms are all settled, the group turns their attention to getting dinner ready. Chef Min starts to prepare salmon for dinner while Jin, Jimin, and Jungkook assist by peeling garlic for him. Since he’s never worked with fresh salmon before, Yoongi isn’t sure how he’s supposed to cut it correctly.

Jin ends up stepping in to help Yoongi in the kitchen, cutting the fish while Yoongi moves over to work on the shrimp instead. After a while, Jin starts to get the hang of working with the salmon even though it’s not easy by any means. Of course, everyone is impressed with the special dish and Jungkook even tries his hand at cutting the fish.

Yoongi also makes them all pasta and Hoseok helps by making some toast to have with the garlic shrimp.

After the Bon Voyage filming crew leaves for the night, the members sit down for a nice game of BTS UNO. To make things interesting, they decide to make the loser of the game in charge of waking everyone else up in the morning.

Things don’t look good from the star for Taehyung who has to keep asking Jimin what certain cards mean and what cards he can play next. They also start to sing each other’s songs according to what song they play. “Euphoria” and “Seesaw” seem to be on repeat throughout the game.

They also have to keep explaining the rules to Taehyung throughout the game. Singing soon turns to a dance party all while they play the card game, and it’s certainly not calming them down before bed. Poor Taehyng never really gets the hang of the game and does indeed end up losing.

Because he lost the game, Taehyung is in charge of making sure all the members wake up in the morning. Unfortunately, Taehyung isn’t much of a morning person himself so it takes a lot of effort.

Luckily for us, it’s very cute to watch his sleepy self trudge around the house and wake the others. Some of which were already awake and surprised to see he woke up on time.

For their first Bon Voyage activity of the day, the members all head off to the luge to ride carts. To get up the hill, they have to get on lifts first, which has them giggling before they even get on the real ride. Somehow, the maknaes all end up taking their own lifts individually while the hyung line pairs off.

Even after doing the scary ride the other day, Hoseok is still a little frightened of the height on the lift. Yoongi is there to reassure him though. They also enjoy the cheery personality of the attendants who help them off the lifts at the top of the hill.

After they’re shown how to use the carts, the members get to take off down the hill. Of course, they can’t help but do a little bit of racing. Thanks to areas that are flatter, they all end up catching up to Jin who was ahead of them.

Jin still ends up finishing before everyone else, and once the others catch up, they decide to go down again on the faster track.

After the group goes home to rest and have some lunch, they decide to branch off and enjoy some different activities. Taehyng goes off by himself to check out a local art gallery. Even though he’s alone, he loves looking at all the different paintings that are on display.

Afterward, he takes a break by a cherry blossom tree to relax and watch the locals.

Hoseok, Jimin, and Namjoon decided to go on a bike ride together for their activity. They enjoy the sceneries as Hoseok leads them through the streets of Queenstown.

When they get tired from biking, they decide to stop for a break of drinks at a cafe. Hoseok and Namjoon grab their usual iced americanos while Jimin gets an iced chocolate drink.

Jin, Yoongi, and Jungkook decide to try their luck at fishing again. This time, they’ll cast from the shore instead of going onto a boat as they did with Hoseok on the previous Bon Voyage episode.

Once they get there though, they quickly learn that the wind isn’t in their favor. Even though it means having to back everything back up, they decide to switch spots shortly after arriving.
