Bryan Cranston and his publisher have announced that he will write a memoir about his life and the AMC meth drama.

Cranston is the actor who portrayed lead Breaking Bad character Walter White in the hit show. The memoir will hit book store shelves fall 2015, according to his publisher Scribner (an imprint of Simon & Schuster).

“Walter White taught me a lot — some of it useful, some of it dangerous,” said Cranston in a statement. The memoir will “tell the stories of my life and reveal the secrets and lies that I lived with for six years shooting Breaking Bad.”

The book seems a little out of left field for the actor given the prestige of Breaking Bad. On the other hand, given the actor’s popularity, we’re sure it’ll be a hit with fans.

Breaking Bad wrapped last fall, but a spinoff is in the works following the work of Walt’s lawyer Saul Goodman and his hitman Mike.
