Brooklynaire by Sarina Bowen is everything that readers have been waiting for from Nate and Rebecca’s story, and so much more.

About ‘Brooklynaire’ by Sarina Bowen:

You’d think a billion dollars, a professional hockey team and a six-bedroom mansion on the Promenade would satisfy a guy. You’d be wrong.

For seven years Rebecca has brightened my office with her wit and her smile. She manages both my hockey team and my sanity. I don’t know when I started waking in the night, craving her. All I know is that one whiff of her perfume ruins my concentration. And her laugh makes me hard.

When Rebecca gets hurt, I step in to help. It’s what friends do. But what friends don’t do is rip off each others’ clothes for a single, wild night together.

Now she’s avoiding me. She says we’re too different, and it can never happen again. So why can’t we keep our hands off each other?

‘Brooklynaire’ by Sarina Bowen book review:

Brooklynaire is yet another example of Sarina Bowen’s exceptional talent at crafting stories and characters that readers will obsesses about. So much so, that often times secondary characters end up with just as much fan-fare as main characters.

Which explains why readers, including myself, have been salivating over getting more information on Rebecca and Nate’s romance. They’ve been in the background for several Brooklyn Bruisers novels, giving readers just enough information to become completely enamored with the pair who were seemingly oblivious to their connection.

“He’s taking care of me. It’s so trippy. My job, more or less, is to take care of Nate’s hockey team. And sometimes Nate. So this turnabout is confusing. I don’t know what to think, and I can’t think anyway, since I have a head injury and his hands are turning me into a little blob of mindless goo.”

Thankfully, Brooklynaire answers our prayers and not only lets readers see more of Rebecca and Nate, it also gives them more backstory. All of the pieces of the puzzle that were missing are filled in, including how Nate and Rebecca first met.

There’s a lot more to learn about Nate and Rebecca, and readers will learn what has kept them apart for all these years. As well as seeing just how compatible these two can really be when they disregard all of the reasons that they think they should not be together.

“I’d wake up in the night and realize I’d been dreaming of undressing her. My conscience always woke me up right before we did the deed. One minute we’d be skin to skin, my hands wandering her body. And then I’d wake up sweaty and aching. And feeling guilty about it.”

Their love story is an epic one, and comes with the excellent writing that I’ve come to know and love from Sarina Bowen. Nerdy Nate is a feminists dream come true for a romance hero.

Not only is he a sexy partner in bed, but he’s conscious of making Rebecca feel like an equal partner in their relationship – and not to abuse his power as her boss. While Rebecca is totally relatable and easily lovable. Together they’re perfect and readers will just love seeing them together.

And talk about steam factor – just because Nate is a nerd doesn’t mean he’s a novice lover. Somehow he’s able to know just what Rebecca wants and needs without her having to ask for it. Brooklynaire has every bit of adorableness that I was expecting, with the added bonus of sexy scenes. To me, this book was just perfection.

Brooklynaire (Brooklyn Bruisers #4) by Sarina Bowen will be released on February 12! Pre-order now from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, iBooks, or Kobo! And don’t forget to add it to your Goodreads!
