Following high-anticipation and big promises, on Tuesday night Britney Spears released her “Work Bitch” music video.

The video was directed by Ben Moor who recently spoke to MTV about the production and what they tried to create for fans who have been waiting years for a new album. “I think this is a more adult Britney, definitely a more adult Britney. You can’t have soft visuals for a song called ‘Work Bitch,’ and we sure as hell didn’t.”

The video made its world debut on The CW earlier this evening just before hitting the internet for the world to see.

Moor says there are a lot of surprises in the video and felt that “Work Bitch” ushers in a new era for Britney. “I think it sets a high bar. I think you can only go bigger and bigger.” He added, “We pulled all the stops.”

Spears announced in September that she will headline a new show in Las Vegas over two years beginning this December 27th at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. The pop superstar will hold court once a week for diehard fans, and ticket sales are reportedly strong for the first batch of shows that have hit the box office so far.

The artist’s yet-to-be-titled album will be released on December 3. With the single and music video now out of the way, all eyes will turn to Spears’ next single and hopefully more details about the album.
