Queen of pop Britney Spears finally made her long-awaited Las Vegas residency announcement on Good Morning America Tuesday and shared new details about her upcoming album.

First: Britney will occupy Planet Hollywood on the Las Vegas strip for two years beginning December 27 for a show called “Britney, Piece of Me.” Tickets go on sale Friday, September 20. She will perform 50 shows a year, or roughly one show a week.

Speaking of the show, Spears said, “We wanted the environment to be that way so people could come and have a good time and stand up and feel like they’re in the show with me. I love Vegas. The energy here is really, really good.” Plans call for the theater to feel like a dance club as she performs new and old hits.

In addition to the Vegas announcements, Spears revealed that her eighth studio album will be released on December 3. The title has yet to be revealed, but Piece of Me would be an educated guess.
