Brie Larson is heading to Apple TV+ for her next project.

According to Deadline, Marvel vet Brie Larson will soon be starring in a brand new drama series coming down the pipeline at Apple TV+.

Titled Lessons In Chemistry, the forthcoming show has been given a straight to series order by the streamer, and hails from Erin Brockovich vet Susannah Grant.

Based on the forthcoming debut novel by Bonnie Garmus, Lessons in Chemistry is set in the 1960 and follows Elizabeth Zott— a woman who dreams of being a scientist, but finds her dreams coming to a grinding halt by societal expectations who insist women belong at home and not in the workplace.

Things take a turn for Elizabeth after she finds herself pregnant, alone, and fired from the lab she works in. From there, she takes a job as a TV cooking show host, where she uses her platform to teach both men and woman about more than just recipes— all while craving a return to her true love: science.

In addition to starring as Elizabeth Zott, Brie Larson will also be serving as an executive producer on the project.

The Academy Award winning actress’ involvement with Lessons in Chemistry marks her second project with Apple Studios.

In addition, Larson is also attached to star in and produce a female-focused CIA drama. Based on Amaryllis Fox’s upcoming memoir, Undercover: Coming of Age in the CIA, the series was given a straight to series order in March 2019.
