Actress Brie Larson is the latest big name teaming up with Apple for a brand new series.

According to Variety, Academy Award winner Brie Larson has officially signed on for an untitled drama at Apple that’s already been given a straight-to-series commitment.

Based off of Amaryllis Fox’s upcoming memoir, Life Undercover: Coming of Age in the CIA, the new series tells the true story of Fox’s experience working as a CIA undercover operative.

Larson will play the lead role in the series, which will tell the story of a young woman’s journey in the CIA through the eyes of her close friends.

In addition to starring in the untitled drama, Larson will also serve as executive producer on the show along with Michael Ellenberg and Lynette Howell Taylor.

Additionally, Megan Martin is nearing final negotiations to write the script.

Published by Knopf, Fox’s Life Undercover: Coming of Age in the CIA is due out on October 15.

There’s no word on when we can expect the adapted series to premiere via Apple.
