Bridgerton season 3 and season 4 are officially a go over at Netflix!

It looks like Lady Whistledown will continue to reign supreme over London society— at least for a few more seasons.

On Tuesday (April 13), Netflix announced that it as officially renewed Bridgerton for season 3 and season 4.

The double season renewal comes just a few months after the online streaming giant announced that it had opted to renew the Shondaland series for a second season.

In due fashion, the series took to social media to spread the good news with fans far and wide in the form of an official special edition of Lady Whistledown’s society papers.

“Esteemed members of the Ton, It seems we have a rather special announcement. Bridgerton shall return for seasons three and four. This author shall have to purchase more ink…” reads the notice from Lady Whistledown herself.

In a statement announcing the exciting double season renewal, Netflix’s VP of Global TV, Bela Bajaria said the streamer is looking forward to continuing to bring more Bridgerton to the masses.

“The creative team, led by Shonda, knew the material and delivered a beautiful, emotional, romantic drama for our members. They have some exciting plans for the future, and we think audiences will continue to swoon for this show. We’re planning to be in the Bridgerton business for a long time to come,” said Bajaria of the Bridgerton season 3 and 4 renewal.

Added Shonda Rhimes: “This two-season pickup is a strong vote of confidence in our work and I feel incredibly grateful to have partners as collaborative and creative as Netflix. Betsy and I are thrilled to have the opportunity to continue bringing the world of Bridgerton to a worldwide audience.”

Bridgerton season 2 is currently in production out in the UK. There’s currently no word on when we might expect to see season 2, season 3, or season 4 debut via Netflix.
