Not only is Disney doing a new Winnie the Pooh; Fox has tapped Domhnall Gleeson and Margot Robbie to star in a biopic of author A.A. Milne.

Goodbye Christopher Robin tells the real life story of the man who brought us Winnie the Pooh, much like Finding Neverland and Saving Mr. Banks did for J.M. Barrie and Walt Disney, respectively.

Brought to you by Fox Searchlight, the film will be directed by Simon Curtis (My Week With Marilyn), from a script by Frank Cottrell Boyce and Simon Vaughan.

And now, Deadline has learned that The Force Awakens and Ex Machina star Domhnall Gleeson will lead the film as A.A. Milne, with Suicide Squad‘s Margot Robbie playing his wife Dorothy de Sélincourt.

In a statement, Simon Curtis comments on the casting, saying, “I am delighted to be collaborating with Frank Cottrell Boyce to tell the remarkable and poignant story of the family behind the creation of Winnie the Pooh. We are assembling a wonderful cast, headed by two actors I am longing to work with — Domhnall Gleeson and Margot Robbie.”

Goodbye Christopher Robin will explore A.A. Milne’s relationship with his son Christopher Robin, whose imaginary adventures with his stuffed toys served as the premise for Milne’s Winnie the Pooh stories. As the melancholy title indicates, this film will not only tell the story of how Milne’s tales brought joy to post-World War I Britain, but also how Christopher Robin’s rise to involuntary fame impacted the family.

Meanwhile, Disney is also developing a ‘live-action’ version of Winnie the Pooh, which should be… interesting.
