Today, it has been confirmed that unlike the last couple of summers, there will be no Glee concert tour. But, don’t fret, you’re still going to be able to see them live!
“We currently have no plans of touring the cast this summer,” a spokesman for Glee studio 20th Television tells THR.
Though THR has just confirmed the exclusive news, there is hope for Glee fans who want to see their favorite characters in concert.
They’ll be doing a one-night only benefit concert in the fall at the Hollywood Bowl in LA!
Prodcers are instead eyeing a one-off Hollywood Bowl benefit concert in the fall in a bid to raise $10 million for its Glee Give a Note charity.
Sources also told THR that Ryan Murphy was instrumental in making sure that the cast – who typically work 16 hour days – got their summer off.
Nothing is set in stone yet as these plans have just begun negotiations. Could this have some sort of tie in with the ‘revolutionary’ thing they are doing for season 4? We could totally see the live show in the fall being aired. Maybe the season 4 premiere?
