Our friends at Fandango have released interesting numbers surrounding The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 movie ticket sales. Most notably, the film has sold out thousands of theaters.

With just hours to go until the first screenings in the United States, Breaking Dawn – Part 2 is accounting for 92% of ticket sales. The final film in the Saga has been in the top three ticket sellers each day since advance tickets went on sale October 1.

A recent survey conducted by Fandango indicates that of 1,000 moviegoers, Breaking Dawn – Part 2 was the most anticipated film of the season. 57% planned to see it more than once in theaters.

Which part of the film were fans most excited for? “A majority (52%) of fans picked the action, while 48% picked the romance,” the movie ticketing website writes. “Among the film’s most anticipated scenes, Bella’s awakening/transformation as a vampire was the most selected, cited by (47%) of fans. Mackenzie Foy (Renesmee), Judi Shekoni (Zafrina), Lee Pace (Garrett), Patrick Brennan (Liam), and Rami Malek (Benjamin) are the top five new franchise actors that fans are most excited to see on the big screen.”

Breaking Dawn – Part 2 opens in theaters tonight at 10 PM in most theaters, and as you can imagine midnight screenings are happening in nearly all theaters across the country.

24 hours after the film’s tickets went on sale in October, we learned that the film’s tickets were outpacing Breaking Dawn – Part 1.
