A new interview with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn director Bill Condon reveals that the final film in the series is also the shortest.

He goes so far as to reveal the running time, which is 1 hour and 56 minutes. How does it stack up against the rest of the Twilight films?

Twilight: 122 minutes
New Moon: 130 minutes
Eclipse: 124 minutes
Breaking Dawn – Part 1: 117 minutes
Breaking Dawn – Part 2: 116 minutes

For reference, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 was also the shortest film of its franchise and did not suffer.

In this same interview with Condon, we learn about the progress of the film as we approach its November release. “We’re at the stage of mixing and doing color timing and adding that last big bunch of visual effects shots, and that’s where it gets complicated because the [most challenging] ones always come in last, so it’s just making sure that they look as good as they can, that’s the big thing right now.”
