In a new interview with Hollywood Crush, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 director Bill Condon reveals what deleted scenes we can expect on the DVD/Blu-ray.

“There are a few scenes of the Volturi traveling around the world,” he told MTV. “There’s one scene of Bella training that seemed to be redundant, so we took it out. Then there’s a big speech out in the field that we’ll see a rough version of on the DVD.”

Explaining the aforementioned Bella scene, Condon explained, “It’s Bella trying to become a bad-ass fighter and failing at it, so it’s kind of funny. The only reason I miss it is there’s this last roundhouse kick that Rob taught her how to do in that training scene.”

The field scene is reportedly delivered by Lee Pace who plays Garrett.

A release date has not yet been set for Breaking Dawn – Part 2 on DVD/Blu-ray. It is likely to be released in February or March. Breaking Dawn – Part 1 was released in February 2012 to time with Valentine’s Day because of the wedding theme, but we do not know if Summit will be aiming for the Valentine connection again in 2013.

Breaking Dawn – Part 2 is currently in theaters across many countries. It opened to a weekend box office of $141 million in the United States. The Twilight Saga is the only series to have three films in the Top 10 list of best opening weekends – a record in itself.

We suspect that Spring 2013 will also introduce us to the first Twilight Saga complete box set, which we hope will pack lots of new special features.
