The Cullens know they may have a big fight on their hands, and in this new clip from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, Edward tells the covens what they’re standing for when they stand with the Cullens.

“Their goal isn’t punishment it’s power,” Edward says in front of the (potential) fighters in his home. “It’s acquisition. Carlisle won’t ask you fight, but I will. For the sake of my family, but also for yours and the way you want to live,” he tells everyone. Jacob then promises that the packs will fight because they’ve “never been afraid of vampires.” The covens then follow in his prideful footsteps.

The first screenings of the film were held earlier this week, and after seeing the film the media (us included) tweeted their reactions, which were all positive. In other recent news, author Stephenie Meyer spoke of her reaction to the film when seeing it completed for the first time. “There’s no way not to [be emotional] with the end of this one,” she said. “[Director] Bill [Condon] has a very good sense of how to really wring your emotions. He put the end together in such a way that I don’t think you cannot have a moment. I can only imagine the fans will really appreciate that moment of reflection.”

Breaking Dawn – Part 2 is in theaters November 15 starting at 10 p.m.
