Walter White and Jesse Pinkman’s story on Breaking Bad might have come to a close, but soon, it looks as though fans will be able to experience the duo’s world like never before.

>Time.com reports that series showrunner Vince Gilligan is currently working with Sony’s PlayStation division to come up with a virtual reality experience based around Breaking Bad.

Unfortunately, fans hoping to uncover more about what the virtual reality experience could entail will have to wait to find out. Currently, both Gilligan and Sony are keeping tight lipped on the super secret project. For now, the only thing that has been revealed is that it’ll be a non-game virtual reality project.

Additionally, it looks like we’ll all have to sit tight while we wait for the Breaking Bad virtual reality project to officially launch. Though Sony isn’t letting any details about the project slip, they did confirm its existence to Time, and additionally revealed that it won’t be releasing anytime this year.

Meanwhile, The Wrap reports that fans could expect to hear more information with regard to the Breaking Bad virtual reality experience at this year’s upcoming E3 video game conference, set to take place in Los Angeles next week.

Though there’s no word yet on whether actors like Bryan Cranston or Aaron Paul will return to reprise their roles in some way for the VR experience, it’s definitely exciting to know that Gilligan is working so closely with Sony to get this off the ground.

We’ll be keeping a close eye on Sony’s presentation at this year’s E3 to see if the company dishes any more details about the upcoming project. Until then, we guess we’ll just have to do some theorizing as to what we think a Breaking Bad virtual reality experience could entail!
