In the pivotal final Breaking Bad scene, Walt and Jesse have their final farewell. For a moment it almost looks like Jesse may run over Walt. After Jesse peels out of Jack’s compound in a rage of glory, Walt heads in a limping manner over to the meth lab and admires all of the equipment as the cops arrive. Slipping to the floor, the police enter and surround Walt as he dies.

The song “Baby Blue” by Badfinger plays over the end scene, and its appearance in the episode made it skyrocket on song charts across the country on Monday. Read our recap of the Breaking Bad series finale.

Following the days since Sunday’s finale (which drew a record 10.3 million viewers), fans have searched for small easter eggs in the storyline. One of the more prominent ones was Walt’s robot that he used to shoot up Jack’s home. Fans recalled that in Breaking Bad season 2, Jesse asked Mr. White to build a robot to get them out of a tough situation. Though he wasn’t able to fulfill Jesse’s request back then, he was able to pull it off in the series finale to save his former student once and for all.
