A slew of photos from the Breaking Bad season 6 premiere show early, spoiler-free glimpses into what episode 1 will hold for Walt, Jesse, and Saul.
Breaking Bad’s final eight episodes begin airing August 11 on AMC. This second half of season 5, which some consider season 6, will wrap up the epic series from the mind of Vince Gilligan for good.
Though these photos lack any real action, we do see a couple key scenes: Jesse is meeting with Saul in his office (where the latter character is wearing a vibrant shirt to match his attitude), and Walt visits Jesse to lecture him. Aaron Paul’s character is looking emotional and on the verge of tears.

The stars of Breaking Bad season 6, otherwise known as the second half of season 5, will appear at San Diego Comic-Con this Sunday to greet fans and presumably offer footage from the last eight episodes. We’re hoping that whatever new material is shared with Comic-Con goers will be placed on the internet for the rest of us to enjoy.

Leading up to the final eight, the cast have been hyping up just how much action will be seen to wrap up the storyline.
“It’s just devastating. It’s carnage,” said Laura Fraser who plays season 5 newcomer Lydia.
Marie actress Betsy Brandt said, “Every time we get a new script I’ve just been like, ‘Oh my GOD.’” She continued, “I told Vince at one point that he was a sick freak.”
