Breaking Bad season 5, episode 14 [season 6, episode 6] “Ozymandias” airs tonight! What can we expect?

Last Sunday’s new Breaking Bad episode had one of the biggest cliffhangers of the season, and perhaps of the series. We watched as Jack and his crew showed up against Walt’s orders and started firing at Hank, Jesse, and Steve while Walt sat arrested in a car.

Jack made his decision to shoot at Hank for two reasons. One, the DEA agents did not show identification like Jack asked. Two, and more importantly, Jack needs Walt to show Todd how to cook so they can improve the purity of the meth, and Walt only agreed to doing so if Jesse was taken out. What Walt didn’t predict was that Jesse was bringing Hank to the site where he allegedly found Walt’s money buried. Thus, Walt mistakenly set his brother-in-law up to be killed.

While we don’t know for sure if anyone died during the shootout, it seems likely that at least Hank will meet the grim reaper. The synopsis for tonight’s episode reads “Everyone copes with radically changed circumstances in different ways.”

We have three additional teasers in the form of photos and videos while we wait for Breaking Bad season 5, episode 14 [considered by some to be season 6, episode 6] “Ozymandias.”

What does “Ozymandias,” the episode’s title, mean? It is the title of a sonnet recited by Walt in a Breaking Bad teaser, and it is about “the inevitable decline of all leaders, and of the empires they build, however mighty in their own time,” according to the poem’s Wikipedia entry.
