Boy Meets World turned Girl Meets World star Ben Savage has shared a glimpse into the highly-anticipated television project being developed by Disney. They begin to film today.

“Almost showtime,” Savage wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the set. In the foreground we see plenty of room for a studio audience. In the distance we see a classroom.

If we were to guess, we’d suspect this classroom is one of the main settings for Cory and Topanga’s daughter Riley, who will be the star of the show (the “Girl”).

Riley will be played by Rowan Blanchard. The 13-year-old character is described as being “an adorable girl on the cusp of whatever comes next in life, and wanting to rush into it head first. She is fiercely loyal to her friends, and spends most of her time juggling the obstacles that life throws her way, some of those being her father, who is also her seventh grade history teacher, her mother who is Topanga, and her brother, Elliot, who is one grade older in school and in life experience and makes sure to always let her know it. But there is no obstacle in this girl’s world that can dampen her bright spirit and eternal optimism.”

Since Girl Meets World is so anticipated, we wouldn’t be surprised if a still from the pilot episode is unveiled sometime soon. The show is taping at Sunset Gower Studios in Hollywood, California.
