John Boyega’s next big screen project will find him sharing the silver screen with Jodie Turner-Smith, Felicity Jones, and Jack Reynor.

According to Deadline, actors John Boyega, Jodie Turner-Smith, Felicity Jones, and Jack Reynor have all signed on to star in the upcoming action thriller, Borderland.

Inspired by Steven S. Moysey’s book, The Road To Balcombe Street, Borderland centers on Michael (Reynor)— a member of the Irish paramilitary who bears witness to the moment when his pregnant wife dies after being shot by an SAS sergeant named Tempest (Boyega) after a border ambush goes awry.

Shortly thereafter, Tempest finds himself getting sent back to London where he’s meant to lead a counter-terrorist operation. Meanwhile, Michael seeing an opportunity to track down Tempest and avenge his wife, decides to join an active service unit currently tearing through London.

Though Boyega and Reynor’s roles in the project have been specified, it’s unclear as to who Jones and Turner-Smith will portray in the upcoming action thriller.

Behind the scenes, brothers Charles Guard and Thomas Guard will serve as helmers on the project.

In addition to his directorial duties, Charles Guard also co-wrote the script for the film along with Ronan Bennett.

In a joint statement announcing the cast of the movie, The Guard Brothers shed a bit more light on the upcoming film, saying: “Borderland is a vengeance fueled chase movie, fusing some pulse tuicking action with a powerful message for our times. We’re thrilled that the script, driven as much by character as it is by plot, has attracted such a first rate cast.”

Currently, there’s no word with regards to when we can expect Borderland to hit the big screen.
