Bones went for a lighthearted, humorous touch tonight and it worked! Read on for more!

We jump right into the team handling our murder victim and also learn that it is Wendell’s last treatment session. Booth is trying, and failing, to complete traffic school. Aubrey goes out into the field with Bones. While going through neighborhood trash, Brennan, Aubrey, and Hodgins discover two kids who have arranged the trash cans like bowling pins and don’t do anything to stop them. Super professional guys.

Aubrey is impressing everybody but Bones is reserving judgment until the end of the case. He finds a tablet with a video of a student screaming that he is killing her although she appears to be just fine. The murder victim is a professor who does psychological testing with fake shocking to see what the test givers threshold is.

Wendell is romancing his nurse and its super cute. They go on a picnic, and who doesn’t immediately want to be on that date with Wendell. Raise your hand ladies! Le sigh. Back at the Jeffersonian, the team has 70% of the body and still no cause of death. One of his students, who had previously threatened him, is brought in for questioning.

During his questioning, the poor guy breaks down and it’s kind of disturbing to see it all unravel. Wendell is still going out with his nurse and she is moving a bit fast, talking about how it feels like they’ve known each other forever. Wendell feels this and backs out of lunch to go back to work. Booth is still taking his traffic school exam and Aubrey finds the murder weapon! Go Aubrey!

Cam sees Wendell’s upset about something, the lady, who is texting about why he isn’t calling. Gurl, it’s called “he’s just not that into you.” At least right now. The interaction between Booth, Aubrey, and Brennan is cute. (I still miss Sweets. This can’t be cured.) As Booth says, just nod. Good sage advice!

The original screamer – aka grad student – aka lover – of the killed professor was doing an experiment of her own, it’s all very technical, but alas she didn’t kill good ol’Randy. Wendell’s girl confronts him at his work, whoa, and he tells her that he is scared about his cancer coming back and having her watch him die. She basically tells him we all die and that having an expiration date doesn’t matter. He gives in and they are back on. Well, good work girl. Your persistence paid off. (Girls at home, this probably won’t work. FYI.)

Booth completes his test and Brennan tells Booth and Aubrey that the next door lady was trying to kill Randy’s cat because the cat ate a bird. She killed Randy when he caught her trying to poison his cat Skinner. A boring murder but nice character interactions! At home, Booth and Brennan discuss their driving styles and who doesn’t enjoy their flirting.
