A new synopsis and stills have been released in advance of Bones’ February 18 episode “The Friend in Need”.

“The Friend in Need” will feature Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) investigating the death of a seemingly innocent teenager whose innocence may be only skin deep as seen by the synopsis. “The Jeffersonian team investigates the remains of a 15-year-old boy. Although his mother and a few close friends saw him as intelligent with poor social skills, the team discovers that this seemingly innocent boy was actually involved in illegal activity and had attended a high school party two weeks prior where drugs were present.”

At least fans can be reassured that Brennan survives her near-death experience in “The Shot in the Dark” and is quickly back to work.  Do you think she will have any lasting side-effects of being shot? The new photos suggest that the boy will be found in a suitcase and that squintern Finn Abernathy (Luke Kleintank) will return to work on the case. The episode will also uncover the rape of a young girl. Do you think that the murder victim is connected by an act of good will or malice to the girl?

Bones airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.
