Now that we’ve met Brennan’s mother on Bones it only seems appropriate that we meet Booth’s as well! Fox agrees and has cast Joanna Cassidy to play the role!
Joanna Cassidy will be playing Marianne Booth in the season finale set to air April 29 reports TV Guide. She will suddenly and unexpectantly drop back into Booth’s life. And her timing won’t be the best either.
This season has certainly been digging in deep and showing fans another side of their favorite characters. Both Booth and Brennan were deeply affected by having their parents missing from their lives at young ages. This season Brennan got to reunite with her mother and work through some issues after flat lining. Although Brennan still denies that it actually happened and doesn’t believe in heaven it definitely did help her. Now it appears Booth will be getting the same chance, the question is how will he react? Although she left to escape her abusive husband, she also left behind her two sons. Booth was then raised by his grandfather Hank who has helped him deal with his childhood turmoul.
