The announcement came today from Fox that Bon Jovi will perform during American Idol’s live results show on Thursday, March 14. Bon Jovi is expected to perform their latest single “Because We Can” from their upcoming album What About Now.
This week, the American Idol semifinalists move to Las Vegas for live “sudden death” performances where the top 10 guys and top 10 girls perform live and are told whether they will advance to the next round of live shows. Tonight, the top 10 girls will perform, while tomorrow is saved for the top 10 guys.
Bon Jovi have been making music for nearly three decades and continue to dominate iTunes sales. Their latest single, “Because We Can,” hit the Top 5 on iTunes in 24 countries and reached No. 1 in 12 countries. Earlier this month, Bon Jovi returned to the road with tour dates in the USA, Canada, Europe, Japan, South Africa, Brazil and Australia.
